iPad Air 2 Accelerometer screwed up after 8.4

my accelerometer was fine prior to updating 8.4. Even tried a full restore. It'll lock up on me (not the actual orientation lock), and it seems the only solution is the lock the device, and then it'll work again for a bit. Soon after, same issue will occur.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I've been having orientation issues with 8.4 on Air 2. Have to re-unlock it to get it to go from portrait to landscape. Doesn't happen all the time though.

Basically, you're not alone and it seems to be an 8.4 issue with no obvious trigger.
