Picked it up to replace my original Ipad air.

Wasn't really expecting much..Thinner eh..cool but not that big of a deal...touch id...dont really care...better camera...eh don't take pictures with my ipad anyway.

Then I tried using it...and boom this thing is almost twice as fast as the original air! by far the best feature is its speed. I must admit I'm pretty impressed just from speed alone I wasn't expecting much improvement.

where do you notice the speed?
 
I did some Geekbench testing with my macbook 2008 unibody. These are the results:

Macbook (late 2008)
Single-Core: 1122
Multi-core: 2007

iPad Air 2:
Single-Core: 1812
Mutli-Core: 4477

I do not understand these numbers, but does it mean that theoretically speaking an iPad Air 2 can run software Photoshop, Office, and Left4Dead better than my macbook can?

My macbook even has a graphics card! (Geforce 9400M)
