All waiting on cellular shipping/delivery
My order has been showing processing since the start so I decided to phone apple.
Basically even tho it still says 'processing' there is a possibility if it's shipped today that I'll get it tomorrow.
If not then it will definitely be shipped tomorrow and be with me Monday. I was told they do not do Saturday deliveries.

My 128 silver cellular has been on preparing for dispatch since about 7pm last night. Oddly I don't have an apple SIM listed.
Same here, 128gb gold cellular, ordered seconds after the store came back, and the shipping date never changed from 22nd-24th Oct.
My confirmation was 16:08 and it hasn't changed from 22-24th delivery either.
So how com some peoples have been despatched next day delivery by UPS and mine is via Syncreon and is stating it will be delivered on Monday! Why do some people get the next day treatment whilst others do not - does not seem very fair?
Yea i used SYNCREON PARCEL tracking and it says Stoke on Trent and then out for delivery. It's gone from Birmingham to Stoke on Trent since around 4am this morning.
I'll be annoyed if it's being held up due to lack of Apple SIMs. Mines going straight in the bin when it arrives lol
When I ordered mine there was no option for express shipping - only standard - has anyone received theirs next day on standard? Seems a bit odd some people are getting next day yet mine is saying it will take 4 days for delivery (it has been despatched). Or will it come before Syncreon's estimated delivery date of Monday?
Space Grey 128Gb Cellular still Processing here - ordered within an hour of the AppleStore coming back up to take orders last Friday - still showing delivery today/tomorrow though.
Feels optimistic but then I've had stuff arrive before it's even marked as dispatched from some places so who knows what's really happening.

Isn't the Apple SIM actually physically part of the iPad and software?
No its a universal SIM card that allows you to choose a provider and not have to get a specific SIM. In the UK only EE support it.
And it's here: Holding a parcel which contains - hopefully - a 64GB Space Gray LTE/Cellular. Cannot play around with it just yet, because I am stuck at work but at least the box made it here safe and sound. (Location: Germany).
I have just had an email from Apple, my iPad Air 2 Wi-fi + Cellular 128gb Gold has just dispatched but the iPad Air 2 Wi-fi + Cellular 128gb Space Grey for my son is still in the processing stage and has been since placing the order

I have just received a dispatch notification with a delivery thankfully to work tomorrow. Its a no brainer what i'd be doing over the weekend
it must take a hell of preparation to dispatch; mine is still stuck at this stage & £££s intact

Unless you are travelling to the UK from another country.
This new Apple SIM seems a great idea for traveling.
I am not sure that there will be much benefit within your home country.
It sort of does, but I'm most likely going to go with EE via Apple SIM anyway, even though I would normally have picked Three. The reason being, if it's successful the other carriers will want in.
