Mine just arrived via UPS

128GB cellular silver.

She mighty purdy, and no screen issues that are obvious... looks perfect and believe me I've experienced my fair share of naff Air and rMini screens....

So, the 128GB cellular I ordered on Monday has just despatched. There's no Apple SIM showing on my order though. Should I be concerned?

Mine didn't have an apple SIM shown on the order.

Not checked the hole, but settings seems to indicate I did.

Oh, you think it was preinstalled? Only I got the impression from other posters it came in its own packaging.

Just checked. Apple SIM was in SIM slot. Just swapped for my Three one.

Same here just received mine check it with dead spotter app no dust under screen or dead/stuck pixels screen.

Agreed, and that usage case is the exact reason I'm not sure which to get. The trouble at the moment is that with only four carriers in two countries onboard, it's very hard to properly evaluate how useful this might be...

Doesn't help that I'm with EE for phone, so I'd not gain any other signal options with Apple SIM (at the moment), nor the convenience really since Instant Hotspot seems to eliminate the mating dance that was needed before. I'd only gain that bit of performance lost in the iPhone-iPad tether and the battery cost to the phone.

Yup, agreed... Other carriers / countries need to get on board for it to be truly useful.

My guess is that Apple wanted to keep it under wraps, so limited the parties involved at first.

I've learnt not to go looking for issues. Nothing obvious on mine and that's good enough for me. Issues with previous Airs and rmini were very obvious.

Mine has just dispatched also. How long did it take for you guys for the tracking info to become available?

Clicking "track delivery" on Apple orders page never work for mine, but if you have the dispatch email you can get the carrier/tracking number from there.

mine was delivered to work 15 minutes ago but delivery status is still out for delivery; i guess Syncreon needs to update it .

Anyone know if the iPad Air 1 Apple Leather case will fit the Air 2 and function OK until the Air 2 Case arrives?

not looking for it to be perfect, just as a stop gap.

The flaw in that thinking: it was so under wraps that they didn't even bother to announce it...!
