But to the topic, i dont think OLED are ready to work with the levels of pressure sensitivity yet that the pencil requires. The iPad also already gives top of the line tablet battery life as is.

I also think you'll see OLED being implemented from smaller devices up; since smaller screens are much easier to manufacture with a new tech- so watch (which has it already), iphone, and then ipad.

Agreed on the comment about OLED showing up in smaller screens first. Yields are simply better at smaller screen sizes with newer tech.

As for pressure sensitivity, that's handled by the sensor in the tip of the Pencil, rather than the screen. Force Touch though...

Having owned a Samsung Tablet S 10.5 - which had 10.5" Super AMOLED screen - it was stunning. I'm not sure if it's realistic at all for OLED to appear on Tablet line - especially before the larger Pro gets it.

6 months ago I would have been super happy to hear that. I've always thought that OLED is the better option. But for the last 5 months I've been using both on a regular basis, so it's blurred the line a lot. It would still be very nice.

Have you seen those samsung OLED's at best buy.

Burn In. The though of burn in and complaint by a consumer is enough for Apple to not want to do it.

They're using it for the Apple Watch, I think that's enough proof that they will eventually adopt it for the iPad and iPhone.
