He's probably jacking off at the thought of all the likes his hilarious comment achieved. Bless him. Prob won't be gettin it anywhere else if he has time to 'contribute' to threads with crap like that. #PRAYFORCOMATOSE81

To the topic in hand then, I too am really impressed with the Air. It's definitely a huge step up for the iPad from the previous generations and easily one of the best redesigns they've done of their products.

Having said that, it does still feel like it's been redesigned with elements of the mini in mind (which is a good thing), so doesn't feel as new to me as I've used a Mini previously.

Still, I wouldn't go back to the smaller iPad now after this. It's perfect for my needs I'm really pleased with it!

The Air is a game changer compared to my iPad 3. It feels amazing to hold and the processor seriously rips.

I'm another one who views huge PDFs for work on my iPad, and the Air flies through anything I throw at it.

If these "feel good" posts serve no purpose, then the "sarcastic" posts serve no purpose, and also the "negative" posts serve no purpose, too. Since that is the case, this forum, and any other forum for that matter serve no purpose.

Be realistic... the purpose of forums is to provide people will common interests an opportunity to discuss their common interests. These discussions will often times be people new/old members talking about exciting new things and their expectations -- met expectations and underwhelmed expectations.

Here the OP is one of the many who is excited about his new product and wanted to share. You simple don't care for these "feel good" posts, so this thread serves no purpose to you. And yet, you still came into this thread and felt inclined to post on an un-purposeful thread. Even in your post, you exude the "feel good" joy as you talk about your appreciation of the new A7 chip compared to the A6x, so why not just simply support the original poster's joy instead of saying his post serves no purpose?

I, for one, enjoy these posts because it counter-balances the numerous amounts of "problem with my new iPad", "not worth it", "regret", etc. threads (which are still very valid and purposeful threads, too).

@OP, congrats on your purchase! The iPad Air is a fantastic device!!
Well said sir . We have a choice to read and not read stuff on the forum .

I'm pretty smitten with it so far. I wasn't sure what I was going to do at first. I was very interested in getting a refurbished iPad 4 and saving some money but once I started playing with the air in store that pretty much sold it for me. I'm cling off of an iPad 2 so the upgrade is rather tremendous at this point.

So, yeah, I'm loving it.:D
