How hard is to build a calculator app?
Not too hard. I think the bigger question is how hard is it to download a calculator app? Because there are many available, anyone that REALLY wants one could have one if they could just download it. Either downloading is REALLY hard OR it’s such a meme’d hot take that people would rather not download an app just to keep the hot takes a’comin’!

I, personally, find it hard to believe that anyone gives a crap about either one. If they had been included I still would have gone to the App store and downloaded the ones I prefer.
Calculators in the App Store are incredibly annoying.
They cost money, or they contain ads, or they're poorly designed.

Weather apps can mostly be free, but contain ad.

Every time I go to use these apps on my iPad, I remember that they don't exist.

We’ll, I guess there’s no help for a ‘glass half empty’ kind of person.

For those of you want to calculator app on the iPad, it's fairly easy to make one using Apple's developer tools. A great starting project for learning to code.
In other words

”Make it your damn self!!”

I guess hackers will have to make MacOS for the M iPad Pros as well.

C’mon Microsoft get going with an ARM SQ3 Surface Pro X already,

I’ve dumped iPhones for a Galaxy Fold 3 and now I need a Pro tablet to do the same for the iPad “pro”

I guess for Apple it is a "challenge." They will probably have an announcement next year at WWDC 2023—Craig will come out and say something like, "At Apple, we believe in building Apps that reflect iOS at its core. This year we are happy to announce that the Calculator app is coming to iPad for the first time. We wanted to give users the best experience with the Calculator app, which is why it took over 20 years to develop this beautiful Calculator app. We are also happy to announce that the Calculator App will be available to all this coming Fall starting at just $9.99 a month." /s
