iPad Mini 4 case options

Ok, after seeing the silly pricing for the official front cover and silicon rear shell, I'll be on the lookout for a third party case for the Mini 4. I much prefer the slim folio style cases and I'm disappointed there is not an official leather smart case option.
Has anyone found any early third party options?

jolioriginals.com have simple leather sleeves. It's just what I wanted, but they don't do one that fits with a Smart Cover on, and my iPads always live with their Smart Cover.

Amazon has Khomo in limited colors for mini 4 in stock. Other colors ship Oct 6.

I have ordered a cheaper alternative that looks pretty much like a Khomo clone. They are being delivered today but unfortunately it looks like the mini won't arrive until tomorrow at the earliest so will need to wait before commenting on fit.

I have the Jetech case - ordered 3 of them actually in different colours. Nice and slim but will need to wait till the mini arrives tomorrow before I can check the fit. I like the feel of it though for such a cheap case. How does it compare to the other one?

I am only getting them tomorrow. I got the mini about an hour ago so will have to be caseless until then. On my mini 2 I used Invellop which I liked but didn't see it's available for the 4. Also saw the Khomo case but it was not ready to deliver until next week so passed on it for now.

I purchased the OEM Apple dark blue smart cover to go with my gold mini 4. I like the OEM and paid about the same five years ago and that cover it still functional so to me it's worth $40 on a $700 iPad. I also purchased a black khomo from Amazon because it was so cheap and would cover the back of the iPad when traveling. One thing to consider is when a cover covers the entire tablet it holds in heat. Not a issue for occasional use but not a good idea as a permanent cover.

Regarding full coverage, the official smart cases do just that. I don't see any real issue with that.

The fit of the rear shell is perfect. The front cover is the perfect size too but I think the hinge is 2 or 3mm too long which is what gives that over reach in the last picture. If it wasn't for that, it would be the perfect value case for me.

Yes, it is the gold serial model. I haven't seen an option for auto sleep function but not sure if that was down to Touch ID or a fault with the case. To be honest I never use that anyway.

I bought the iPad Mini sleeve from Mujjo, since their website stated it's for all 4 Mini models.

Received it today, and - as I expected - it doesn't fit at all. Apparently Mujjo failed to notice the Mini 4 doesn't have the same dimensions as the previous 3 models. Such a shame.. The search continues!

I brought a new case for my new iPad Mini 4 from Poetic, and my friend recommends this case for me when I have difficult to make a decision on choosing a case with an excellent design and protected function. I love this case so much. Here is some pics to share......

and to those who used the smart cover without the back on their previous ipads, when you have the smart cover folded in typing position, is it easy for the edge of the ipad that rests against the surface to scratch?

I bought SmartCovers for the wife and I's new Mini 4s. Yuck. Sloppy fit and too big. It extends over the right edge of the device. I'm looking for something else, too. Maybe a sleeve this time.
