iPad Mini 4 in store availabilty

Didn't see a thread on this. Anyone's Apple store have them available yet? I figured it would be earliest today since it would need to have iOS 9 on it. Would love to be able to get my hands on it today or tomorrow.
 
I was thinking of creating a thread on this, so thanks. Chances are looking very low for ordering for pickup for today. Stores in the East are open so someone needs to check them out to see if any showed up last night.
 
I went to the Apple Store at Northlake Mall in Charlotte yesterday and they said they had them in stock but weren't allowed to put them out on the floor or sell them yet, and didn't know when they would be allowed. I assumed it was because of today's iOS 9 release, but it still seems a little weird that Apple isn't being clear on when the device is actually being released.
 
Just called here in Dallas-Fort Worth area, and they DO HAVE THEM! Headed there now to pickup. Ordering online for pickup is showing unavailable, but they do have them. I will post again once I actually have it, in case the person working there was wrong.

Apple Store or Best Buy?
 
I really hope there's not a line...especially with the lack of pre-pickup.

I should add, that if the stock is there, tonight, they should add the order pickup option around 11pm-1am PST.

Please keep us updated if you were able to get one. I keep calling the local stores and don't know of you guys notice bit seems like now it's routed through a call center. In any case don't know if it's my luck or what but they sound pretty rude and keep insisting to order online and dismissing the option of store pick up. Let's hope this changes soon.

I just purchased a 64GB Ipad Mini 4 WIFI in the Apple Store in Roosevelt Field, Long Island, NY.

Ask an employee to look it up. There will probably not be any demo units set up and the employees may not even know it is in the back.
 
I was also indeed able to get one at the Apple Store - 64GB gold wifi. It's great. Using split view already! Just as a side note, when I got there and asked for it, the employee said they only had them online. I assured him they got them in today since I confirmed when I called. He didn't believe me, and reluctantly checked, and of course they had them. They did not have all the colors of smart covers in stock however. Luckily, they had the one I wanted.

They have them at the Apple Store in Halifax Canada. They are going out onto the shop floor tomorrow but you can buy one of you ask for it.

CONGRATS man!!! :) Hard to understand the gamut from the pic you uploaded.. Can anyone who has gotten their hands on one confirm the gamut has been fixed?
