They are just different enough that I use both... For content consumption.

Even having a nice selection of the various keyboards & accessories I still find no compelling desire to use them instead of one of my Mac Laptops (MBr/MBA/MBPr).

YMMV :D

I lean more towards the larger iPad. I was hoping for an Air 3 this year, but to no avail. I sold my Air 2 in anticipation, so I just ordered another to hold me over. I have a 6S Plus, so I just feel like having a Mini and a Plus is kind of redundant, since they're close in screen size. Just my personal opinion though.

The mini 4 was a great update. The 3 as sort of pointless because all it added was Touch ID. With the 4, you're basically getting a smaller Air 2. Form factor is great. Very portable.

I like the portability of my mini but just purchased an iPad Air 2 for the larger screen size. I love the larger screen. I too wish the iPad Air 3 was available. The Air 2 I just purchased was from BB for BF with $100 discount so that made the sale.

I really love the larger screen. The Air 2 will be for home use. Very nice device.

I have an use both. The Air 2 is for home use, as you say. The Mini 4 (upgraded from a Mini 2) is for commuting/travel.

I came from the Mini 2 & went for the Air 2. The portability of the Mini is awesome but chose the Air 2 for the larger screen & text.

The Mini 4 is the first iPad I have enjoyed so much I missed it when I foolishly returned mine last week. After the current iPhones did not work for me, I exchanged my 6s+ for a 5s and another iPad Mini 4.

I love the Mini form factor. Being able to read on it is wonderful. Movies are awesome, and I'm even getting used to typing on the keyboard one handed.

The screen / speakers / weight are great.

It completely changed my mind about iPads.

Almost exactly the same for me!

I bought an iPhone 6S, coming from a 5 and find it not a good experience. I'm waiting for the 6C to exchange.
I come from an iPad 2 and bought an iPad mini 4 and I'm really enjoying this device. It's one of the best experiences with an Apple device.

A smaller iPhone and a small iPad to compensate is for me the best of both worlds.

I had an iPad Air 2 and after selling it I got an iPad Mini 4. No regrets here, the form factor of the Mini is just perfect

Got the Kavaj case today. Perfect fit, good quality and quite cheap. Nice.
