I remember comparing my iPad 2 and 3 side by side, and although I could tell the difference, it was very subtle, not like OMG. The iPad 2 screen is no slouch. The mini looks awesome.

Yep :D While not exactly the same, I did the same comparison with my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Yes, (before someone pounces on me) I realize the difference in screen sizes here.

Can't wait to get my Mini this Friday. I'm happy with all of the features and made the best choice for ME

I know everyone is saying why doesn't the Mini have Retina...but I don't think it's a problem.

I think people feel as if they're going from an iPad 3 to and iPad2. When in all reality the iPad Mini has a better PPI. 163 in the Mini vs 132 in the iPad 2. The same ppi as the iPhone 1st-3rd generations

And for people complaining about the A5 Chip...The A5 Chip was in the 4S which had Retina Display. And the 4S ran very quickly. I think the A5 chip inside of something without a Retina Display will run it just as good (if not better) than the 4S.Despite the fact the iPhone 4S retina display has less pixels than the iPad Mini.
Yes, I know in a year some these features will be included. But for now I think it's a solid device. Better than the 4th Generation iPad because they went back 2 generations on it's chipset, included the iPhone 4's camera, went back to 512mb of RAM, back to the 2010 with the same screen res as the original iPad...lighter, thinner, and sleeker.

I fixed it.

I fixed it.

Other than Retina you wouldn't be able o notice the difference between the two in performance. You're just a nerd that slobs on the knob of new chips and features that you wouldn't be able to realize if you didn't read the spec sheet.

What was the point of your post? To try and ruin the Mini for me or other people? Sounds like you're bitter because we're getting new toys and you aren't.

Actually, judging from the context of your post, you are the one that sounds bitter. I never stated which "toys" I have, want, or will/will not buy.
