I use my iPad Mini as an iPad. Honestly, I'm tired of these threads. Apple marketed it as being the same as the regular iPad, except smaller. I do the same exact thing as probably regular sized iPad users are doing, and I have no problems at all.

well I use it for...

Reading comics, email, watching movies and light surfing. I don't read much else on it due to the screen, but I love the light weight and the size. I might start using Siri for class, but won't use it for full blown writing duties.

If Apple released this along side the original iPad, I would have bought the mini instead of the regular sized 2, 3, and very briefly, 4.

If future generations include the same or better battery life and weight along with the retina display, count me in. Hopefully, I won't make the mistake of buying and selling/returning as I did with the larger size and just stick with the model I have for as long as possible.

Has everything discussed here not be re-hashed over and over and over and over in almost thread in this forum? WE GET IT! There is a reason there are 2 sizes of iPad. Whats good for the OP is not for many other and visa versa. This argument is so long in the tooth already. The same reasons there is still a MB Pro when most are buying Airs now.

It's for consumption, not creation, and its a GREAT consumption device.
