I don't know if these give you a better idea. If not, tell me how to line the shot up and I'll see what I can do. :)

It's really hard to get a front shot without mega glare when the screen is off. It's not so bad when the screen is on.

ah cool, thanks for those! yeah the black plastic blends in quite well with everything, and it's not as noticeable as the white version. i was going off this shot from BGR for comparison (which is from their gallery here: http://bgr.com/gallery/ipad-mini-wifi-lte/)

(i guess if you have time to kill, you could perhaps take a similar shot? :p
EDIT: it might actually work better outdoors and/or with glare, to show off the reflective glass and chamfer against the matte plastic. but yeah don't invest too much time in my nitpicky requests, it's probably not worth it :p )

I'm even more excited to get mine now... but I just checked my order status - apparently it'll still be 1-2 weeks before it ships :(

Yeah, it works on my mini exactly like it does on my non-mini ipad.

Definitely a nice 'bonus' feature for going with Verizon!

(And not to mention VZW LTE smokes AT&T, around here anyways. Chicagoland)

In Chicago, AT&T only owns 5mhz of LTE Spectrum, so it's going to be slow.

Haha 3G....
I've noticed the cellular shows up as 3G while you are setting up the account. But the minute the account is setup and paid the data speed changes to LTE (assuming you are in an LTE area).

Prepaid. It's available on both.

I can confirm that hotspot works on the prepaid for the Verizon iPad mini's as well. It is the main reason I went with it over AT&T since I have unlimited data on my AT&T iPhone and can't use the hotspot.

Best of both networks this way.

Haha that is almost exactly the opposite of what I see here.
Normally 20-25 on Verizon.
AT&T usually between 10-15

The trade-off to me is that Verizon LTE is broader than AT&T LTE and I can tether with Verizon as part of my data plan. Not sure how often I'll tether but I'm sure it'll be worth it when I do.

Interestingly, during Hurricane Sandy in my area, the only cell service that worked for days was Verizon.
