I have an iPad 3, but I may end up selling it due to losing my job. If it weren't for all of my BB gift cards, I wouldn't even be getting the Mini.

I had an iPad original that I gifted to a family member...may get a mini2 if the reviews are good on the mini original once people begin to use them...I tend to stay away from "original" apple products unless I get a smoking deal on the item (like I did on my original iPad or iPod touch).

Not sure how to vote with the above options:p

had an ipad 1st generation. Sold it because I wanted portability in carrying in my purse. Loved it. No complaints.

I guess it was a given I'd come back to Apple. Sold the Galaxy tab, Kindle Fire and Nook. Nook was the worst of all.

Great!!! People are now selling their Ipad for Ipad mini. Who is it targeted to compete with anyway. Its own product????

Since Nexus and Kindle owner wouldn't want to buy it anyway. Keeps in mind that resolution is low and it is on a smaller screen than Ipad.........

I sold my iPad 2 16GB wifi and both of my Kindle 4's (mine and my mom's) and purchased an iPad mini. :)

I have a feeling I'll miss my Kindle, but oh well! I'm so excited to be able to carry and iPad in my purse!

If the previous iPad owner wasn't going to upgrade to the iPad 4, then technically it is new sale. I got my iPad 1 as refurb when the iPad 2 came out. Now I am finally upgrading to the mini.

I bought an ipad 1 used when the 2s came out. I sold it after 3 weeks, I couldn't standing paying that much plus I didn't care for the size.

I eventually bought a kindle fire waiting to see if an ipad mini would come out. Nothing is wrong with my fire, it suits my needs, but I'm pretty invested in apples ecosystem so I was happy when the mini was announced. I went ahead and preorderd one.

I own apple Tv, macbook pro, iphone 4s so the mini will play nice and complete the family.

I was going to sell it but now I decided to keep it since I'm selling my Air (for the new 27" iMac).

The split is almost evenly 50/50 between people who currently own an iPad and want to supplement it with the mini, and those who are going to use the mini as their only iPad.
