I hear ya, but that's kind of my point. I've got to believe that Apple's Fifth Avenue, Soho, 14th Street, Grand Central, and Upper West Side stores see more traffic per day than any of these other stores combined. Why not ship to the stores in NYC first?

Mine is going to Norway, and it shipped earlier today, so it have started shipping to Europe also.
Any others who had theirs arrive in HK around 2:30 AM Nov 14 local time via UPS? Usually things clear the stop in HK within 24 hours but it's been that long already. I was hoping it might get to Louisville by tonight and Canada (YVR) Friday morning but it looks like Monday or Tuesday it is

perhaps they are waiting to fill the plane, fly out saturday night, disperse the units stateside then Monday to the major hubs, Tuesday delivery.
Ordered mine 1 to 3 days.
Disappointing having to wait
Yeah I guess a plane is really big but with all the billions of product Apple sells in the US every week, I thought they'd have a few planes every day with stuff going from China --> US.

and my credit is still pending rather than charged. funny stuff.

I called to politely inquire about why my new iPad has been sitting in Hong Kong for over 28 hours and the nice Apple lady didn't have an answer, but is sending me a nice leather Smart Cover as consolation!

Just placed an order for pick up, a white 32GB Mini R tmobile at the SF Apple Store. Going to pick it up later in the day.

Got shipping confirmation today that my 128g Silver AT&T iPad mini with Retina is on its way. Delivery shows this Tuesday November 19th. FYI - my shipping was upgraded by apple to Next Day. Obviously this is not next day but it's fast enough and I'm happy.
I received from Apple a shipment notification today. At the top it has "Where's your package?" My FedEx my number and estimated arrival November 19
Further down the page:
"Your shipment is on its way" stating "shipped delivers November 20"
Both of these dates are in the same email and the first one the one on top has a little gear turning before it shows up.

If you type the tracking number in at fedex.com, that will give you the most accurate info
Ordered exact same unit about 4 hours earlier, did not pay expedited shipping, and also currently in TA YUAN HSIANG TW, as of 10:27 PM (local time) on 11/14/13. Hoping above all hope it lands in Memphis, TN tonite for delivery to me in Texas Friday (tomorrow) instead of Saturday.
Ordered White/16GB Tuesday mornings. Upgraded shipping for the extra money. UPS said it would arrive tomorrow, Friday, but then a day later changed to "Last Location: Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong." Just got off the phone with Apple Support. They said something happened with a lot of the iPads and they weren't shipped on time. They refunded the extra shipping cost and said they were going to send a coupon through email for the online Apple store. I figured, like most, it would be for the free case, but it wasn't. This is what I got.

Ordered 2x 32gb wifi (black) units within 5 minutes of each other around 3am on launch night. I received a shipping confirmation on one that it would arrive on Friday and the other on Monday. Now I check the tracking and the BOTH say Monday delivery. Boo! I had tomorrow off to wait for my PS4 shipment and I thought I was going to get my iPad Mini the same day. Bummer.
lol how annoying is it to read people talking about their ipads coming while mine is still sitting in "processing".

Yup, thanks. Looks like it's coming a day earlier than Apple projected. NOT a problem.

Mine stayed in processing for a while because my debit card had a limit set for fraud control purposes and was bouncing Apples request for payment. Apple notified me and I called the bank to have them raise the limit.
5 minutes after that call my status upgraded to the next step.
