Mine is going back. The yellow tinge is severe on mine. These pics don't even begin to replicate the dirty white instead of bright white I see on my screen.

The picture above is of my new ipad mini 2 on the left, which i purchased release day and received today, and my ipad Air, both at 100% brightness. The Mini looks like it's been sitting in an airport smoke room for a year...

Not too mention, the new Mini's colors are nowhere near as vivid as the Air or previous Retina ipads.

Half-trillion $ company and their screen gets beat by Google and Amazon in color tests reported by the media. Disappointed.

I just got my retina mini today. I didn't see any yellow tint. Actually, there was yellow tint with my Air on the left side. But that went away after few days. It might have been the glue drying I heard about. The whiteness is about the same as my Air. The colors are not as vibrant as the Air. But unless you have something to compared to, you'll not noticed the difference.

If I don't find something horrible about the mini in the next few days. I'll keep it and return the Air. I prefer the smaller size.

My iPad Mini on the left with a nice contrast and my iPad Mini Retina on the right with a blown out dirty white balance that trashes the contrast.

Unloaded my shares of Apple today, before this hits the mainstream and aapl drops back into the $400's.

These pics do nothing to accurately show just how bad the Mini retina screen is. Maybe it's just mine came out of a faulty batch. I can't imagine any prior Retina owner keeping a Mini with this yellowing issue.

Kinda strange that went i went to the online Apple store for an RMA they never questioned why i was returning my ipad Mini 2. Maybe so Apple can resell it as if there is no problem with it. IE, no record of customer pointing out the fault in the product.
