iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

Well at least they're together in the same location but probably not for long until Friday.

Mine has been "Preparing for Shipment" since Friday (ordered at 6am PST) but no luck on FedEx or UPS using my phone number, order number, or serial number. I am NW of Chicago.
 
How can a mini that still says preparing for shipment get here by Friday?...I'm getting nervous now. Especially watching how slow the covers are taking to get here. It would have to go into shipped status tonight or tomorrow morning to get here on time. Eeeek.

I DID watch a Giraffe give birth via webcam last week. My life is that uneventful. I am a stay at home mom to two kids (4 months and 3 years) so when they nap I track airplanes. No big deal.

The way you stated this made my day (the no big deal part)... well besides sandy going on. I'm waiting for something to (hopefully not truthfully) fall near me it's so windy.

Don't worry. You'll get it. The orders listed as preparing for shipment (with a 11/2 delivery date) have already shipped. Mine is still listed that way but it's actually in Alaska now ( left Japan and before that China).
 
I finally got mine to show up!

I went to Fed Ex's website and entered my phone number as the reference number. Shows delivery set for Nov 2nd. Can't wait!

So if FedEx says estimated delivery for Oct 30th.. Is that even possible or will it be held till the 2nd?

Fedex says my mini's arriving tomorrow. as well as my Smartcover, I wonder if they'll hold the mini till Friday.

How are you finding what flight to follow?..or what flight your item(s) are on?

^ Just a matter of finding the UPS flight leaving Anchorage closest to the departure scan. I picked Louisville as the destination since all UPS packages that come to me go through there (All UPS packages coming from China, i.e.)

The flight it was on gets confirmed because almost as soon as the flight lands, you get an arrival scan (as it happened on the flights from Korea and Osaka to Anchorage.

You can search for ups flights from china once you know when it departed. Then just find the next flights from the original destination.

Its just based on when your last UPS Departure status is. From than then just deduce the flights. :)

I just looked on ups and FedEx. My Smart Cover is coming from china and just left Anchorage.

The ipad mini it self is showing on FedEx using my phone number. It is actually showing shipping from Middletown, pa. Even though apple hasn't updated the tracking for it. It is showing a delivery date of 11/02.
 
Mine says prepared for shipment. Others here seem to know the pilots flying the jets carrying theirs.

I feel so alone
