awh. did you try tracking it via reference? I think everyone's still says "preparing", but if you search for your tracking, then you can really know for sure.
Ill find the instructions i posted earlier- one sec.
EDIT:
I used my Serial Number
(from the support page https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do ) as the UPS "Track By Referance" number and it came up! Shows as shipped even thought Apple.com status is "Preparing for Shippment".
Then from that you can figure out based on your last departure scan what UPS flight it is on FlightAware.com (UPS is the airline). there are only a handful of ones and just match up what makes the most sense. If coming from China, or Korea, or Japan - then it goes to Alaska, then to Louisville KY. Happy Tracking!!

Macjones. I have no idea how they know so much also. I just didn't get all this information. Just a confirmation.

I don't know how they know it will arrive by Saturday. I was under the impression they GET shipped on the second. not that we would have them or who ever that ordered online, by phone. :confused:

You aren't alone. It's probably on a UPS shipment. The UPS shipments track differently than the FedEx shipments.

Thank you Julie. I've never had a first anything. Always later down the line. And when they do come out with more this or that on it, I'm sure I'll still love the one I have. I usually keep my product if I like. When I change, its usually because the one i had really wasn't the one I really wanted.

I can't wait to see who is going to be the first to say they have theirs on Saturday.

I'll probably open it, play a bit, get a new ap and then put it down because what will we learn from the new ones's any how?

They know because they are clever. And probably psychic :D
Anyways, although I love to follow Rudolf on his journey, I know my toys will probably get to me. God bless you all. :)
