New to forum and thanks to this thread was able to track ordered mini. Ordered Mini 16 Black Wifi at 3:05 AM EDT on friday. Apple still showing preparing to ship. However just used UPS (no) and Fed EX (Yes) tracking by reference. Shows my mini was picked up at 10:08 this morning by Fed Ex at Middletown Pa, future delivery requested, estimated Nov 2 by 3:00 PM. Thx again.

Yea I think our mini will actually be shipped to us by the time apple site shows any tracking info that's what happens with the iPhone 5

You won't see any shipping info in FedEx or ups until your ipad mini appears in the list of devices in your apple support page

Apple must only have a once a day update to their order status.

How long after that happens will it actually ship? I used a bank debit card for payment method..

Looks like my mini has shipped as well (16GB black). I used my phone number to track by reference on FedEx.com. My serial number has also appeared on the Apple Support Profile page. According to that Chipmunk site, my iPad mini was manufactured last week (week 42) in factory F4. Is that the Brazilian factory?
