FedEx says my Smart Cover will be delivered 11/1. I'm hoping thy means my LTE mini will actually arrive before Apple's predicted 11/23. Though one day earlier would be Thanksgiving.

I wish I had ordered a Smart Cover at the same as my iPad Mini - if I try to order it now, the smart cover has a delivery date of 11/7 - 11/9. 
Just found mine on FedEx by using track by reference. It says it will be delivered on the 30th by 3PM, but that most likely won't happen. Here's hoping I get it a few days early! Can't wait!
Edit: Just checked it again and it changed the delivery date to Nov. 2nd.

Mine is in China right now too, just found it with UPS. YAY! Says that it will be delivered on 11/2 by end of day.
Is yours also white? tommyzors and yours are the first 2 I've seen made in China.
I wonder if the black is coming from Brazil and the white from China?

That's a good question. I have tried my phone number and order number as the reference number/input and neither has worked. I've seen posts from others that claim one or the other has worked for them.

My 16gb Mini is preparing for shipping. My red smart cover already shipped and fedex says it delivers on the 1st

Their newest factory in Brazil is F4 (Jundial São Paulo), but they do have other factories in Brazil, if the serial check doesn't show it, probably very difficult to ascertain.
Week 40 is October 1, 2012 to October 7, 2012.

The smart cover has shipped and has an arrival date for Tuesday, Oct. 30th.
My ipad mini says that it's still being prepared for shipment.
Is it pretty standard for them to ship it separately like that?
Seems like a waste of shipping and man-time to me.

You won't see any shipping info in FedEx or ups until your ipad mini appears in the list of devices in your apple support page
In thinking white is coming from china and shipping ups and black is from brazil shipping FedEx.
