I had read about it on a blog somewhere, and given that I pay £10pm for three.co.uk 1GB, I thought I might just give EE a go.

I've seen that tariff on the business section of the site. It's priced at £13.33 + vat for 5gb

Tried asking them but they say it doesn't exist
 
I eventually got one of these EE 5Gb/30Day packages (1hr in store!) they dont seem to be able to be purchased online, initially instore was confusion, but we got there in the end!

Note that according to their press release http://explore.ee.co.uk/our-company...e-choice-with-new-4gee-mobile-broadband-plans

You get the first month free of charge, but again in store this wasn't known about!

Seems to be EE is struggling to cope with demand right now!

WynterB - Did you manage to get Personal Hotspot working ? I dont see it as an option, when i used three it worked fine ?
 
I think it would be a good idea to create a new thread for the cellular tariff options conversation, would it much easier for others to find and keeps this thread on topic.

I got an email saying mine dispatched last night, but no information when i got to tracking of where it is, my date has now changed from delivers 30th to 7th to on or before 11th

Sorry to hear that, but everyone coming out of the Apple store in Westfield Stratford was being eyed up by dark gangs of youths looking for easy pickings.

Too many people going there with no intention of paying for the goods they end up with.

Snap. Same shipment. Last update (a couple of days ago) said that the shipment was in transit to the destination country and not to expect a further update for 4-5 days. Delivery expected Wednesday.

Not long now. :)
 
Am I right in saying that you can mix and match sims in the device? It doesn't lock to an operator once you've put a sim in.

I'm not sure how much I'll use the cellular, that EE deal sounds great but could potentially be way more than I need. I'm going to use my existing 3 sim which has quite a nice pay and go option, but may get the EE as a back up if all goes well. Doable?

Why anyone would shop in that ******** i do not know... The staff in there are rude plus you have the chance to get mugged, i would carry oven cleaner and spray them in the eyes if they came near me, or better yet Hydrochloric Acid....

Same. I think it's just to do with the weekend, I'm expecting/hoping it to update tomorrow.

Most of them seem to have left Pudong airport 2 days ago in that case. Still "in transit". Not sure if they go to a central hub in Germany first before transfer to the UK.

Seems like they were sent by pedalo tbh. And only one person pedalling.
 
Has your order shipped? I don't think you can in that case, you have to wait for it to arrive and return it or refuse delivery, and it takes a few days to get the money back.

Hey , how can I track mine? I've tried my reference numbers on TNT but they return nothing :(

All I have is my reference number but no courier details filled.. I preordered on the 26th oct at 08:02 and mine finally updated to shipped Friday morning.. Is mine on the same plane as you guys??-

Use the US version of the TNT site (change country link at the top of the page)

No. I made a new order yesterday. I paid for it but no sms to ensure the purchase -as usual- it was midnight. At 1930 i got an email from apple they canceled my order due to banking issues! No charges made and i have to make a new order!

I called the bank. They said the money is on hold!!

Any ideas?!
 
oh dear... i'm not sure mate sorry. Have you tried calling Apple and asking?

in other more amusing news, my wife gave me an ipad mini case this morning. Think she is taking the mickey out of me. Its a very nice case though - joy factory smartsuit mini. Had forgotten i added it to my amazon wishlist!
 
Confused by TNT tracking

My tracking number seems to give different results depending on if I use the International or UK options.

The international one has been stuck in "Pudong International Airport" since Saturday. :-(

The UK one gives two results (they re-use numbers it says).
One entry has the matching reference from the Apple tracking page and shows it as being in 'PARK ROYAL' this morning. That might make sense as I am in White City (London) which is down the road from Park Royal.

Fingers crossed the second one is correct.
 
6th dec

apparently my delivery date is 6th december but i can't see how it wouldnt be a day earlier seeing as it left Pudong International Airport yesterday at 8pm. I think if they really tried they could get it to me tomorrow...
