I would expect they would either ship today on 48hr delivery, or tomorrow for next day delivery.
Hi, where are people finding their serial numbers? my order only has the part number and states it preparing for shipment for 11/2

Not really as the Whites were out of stock and at two weeks when the preordering started in the UK.
Your delivery date of the 16th is only one day after mine, which is for the iPad only. If you cancel the case you'll have to pay delivery on it separately...
You could cancel the case and just pick one up in store this weekend, sure there will be plenty of cases
Edit - just read your post again, no wont make any difference, i ordered same model at 8.02 am and mine delivers 15th Nov, dont think they had any stock of the whites!!!

The store rep on the phone said it would be the ipad holding up the order, might just take the risk!
Has anyone heard if Argos / John Lewis / Comet etc are going to have stock on Friday??

I keep checking the Apple support profile page and i dont have an ipad mini allocated as yet so presume they are still in production. Will keep checking this as mine says delivers by 15th so not sure if that means i could get it early or actually on the 15th November

Currys/PC World say no, no word back from Argos.
A John Lewis employee elsewhere is adamant that they will have stock on Friday, but officially the answer is still no.

Thanks d123, im in no rush but was disappointed when i got in early to then have to wait until the 15th, suppose i used up my luck when i bagged the ip5 at Eldon Square on the weekend after release
Will still probs try other stores and then if lucky just cancel the online order

I suppose the other thing is will stores have the white models if there were no stock at all for pre order
or do they hold a certain amount back for the Apple store and other suppliersTime will tell but hope you all get the black ones ok on Friday
Just had a reply from John Lewis Newcastle
I've replied and said that as the release date is Friday, how much closer would they like to be contacted for more details
Ha ha very funny but at least it sounds like they will have them, going to have a good look round ealry friday morning - this now after i had decided to just wait until 15th - Apple product releases really get you going!!

Dont worry same thing every time with the pre orders, will probably be tommorow when most see status going to preparing or shipped, can even be as late as tomorow evening and you will still get it on Friday.
