I have an iPad Pro M5 11".

I have installed the ESR glass protector (standard version - not the armor ones) and having a annoying problem.

Laying flat the iPad without touching the metal frame I have touch issues.
If I set up the pad like a laptop with the Apple Smart Folio and don't touch the frame I also have touch issues.

As soon as I touch the metal frame the touch sensitiviy is back to 100%.
When holding the iPad in the hands and using it I have absolute no touch problems.

Is there any solution for this?
I definitely won't use it without a protective film.
Also a matte paper foil is no way to use.

Thank you in advanced.

Sorry for opening a new thread but the old thread from 2018/2019 is dead 😱

Talk to ESR about it. Sounds like an issue with the protector.

FWIW I don't use a screen protector on my own iPads, I find them useless. But you do you!

UPDATE:

Even with screen protector removed the touch sensitivity is not good using the iPad in landscape mode and not touching the metal frame. It’s like a grounding issue.
