Like I posted previously. Some iPad pros (not all) are $150 off at staples this morning.

These iPad sales are a dime a dozen. Never pay full price for iPad.

Yeah, but that's only $50 off the 9.7" Pro versus the $250 from Best Buy when you could combine the student discount and the sale. I feel like that was an epic buy. I appreciate the link though! I definitely won't buy one at full price.

It was epic...but don't hold your breath in hopes of another soon. You might be waiting long.

I remember it was $225 off the 9.7 IPP. And yes, it was epic. I could not resist, and am very happy with the upgrade over my Air 2.

I have a three 10% off in store for sale if someone wants it to use this weekend on the iPad Pro or MacBook since they will be on sale?

That would be awesome I am interested. I have been eyeing one of these bad boys since the last sale and regret not jumping on it..

Do it!

$100 and $100 edu if you can stack is a good deal,

Not as good as $225 off of course, but pretty close!

$399 for 32GB is sweet spot

This should be a good reminder to not pay retail unless you don't care about resell and are keeping your device for the long haul

Agreed. With some patience, I was able to recently get two new iPad Air 2 64GB (from Best Buy) for $375/$399, which now has me spoiled to expect at least a 20% discount on iPads.

That's awesome and not to steal your thunder, but I got Air 2 64 at Target for $399 back in early Fall last year :D

I'm an electronic deal meister,

I'm an electronic deal meister,

Actually I was mistaken, the only iPad Air 2 64GB I ended up keeping was the one I got for $375 (included a $25 AMEX credit) from Best Buy. But props for getting it via a good price a year ago!

Thanks for the tip. I missed the 2 day only sale price for $125 off, but did pick up one on Sunday for $100 off (plus the extra $100 off via the student discount....using your tip above). $549 for the 128 pro is still a good price. I managed to pick up one of the 64GB Air 2's last Fall when Staples was discounting them heavily for $449. I'm going to put that one up for sale on CR this weekend ($425). So, after everything is said and done, I'll have upgraded to the Pro With twice the storage for just an incremental upgrade cost. Sweet deal.

Just a follow-up to this for anyone interested...or in a similar situation (i.e. Trying to sell an old iPad). This is the toughest time I've ever had selling my old iPad. I've had it up on Craigslist (Atlanta) for a coupe of months (iPad Air 2, wifi, 64GB). I started at $425 (not a single hit), dropped to $400 (not a single hit). Dropped to $375 (not a single hit). When I dropped it to $350, I started getting some hits and just sold it today for that price. Maybe it's the slowing iPad market in general? At least I only paid $440 last Fall (i.e. During Staples great deals)....so didn't lose that much.

Considering that same model was available brand new for $399 (or $375 w/AMEX statement credit) via Best Buy recently, I'm actually surprised you got $350.

I agree. If it were me, I'd hold out for another $100 off sale on the 64GB Air 2 and pick up a brand new one. I'm always amazed at the market there is for used Apple products and how people will pay top dollar for used products. There is always at least one person that will buy used at a good price (i.e. And thats' all it takes). But, I did have to wait it out for 2 months this time around. All other iPads I've sold have gone very quickly.

Totally agree. Most anyone in the past 12-18 months could have gotten a iPad deal.

Heck I got brand new iPad Air 2 64gb with $140 target gift card 3 weeks after it launched in 2014.

Than they had it $175 off etc. can't remember but multiple times. So many sales.

The resell market dictates the dropping value of tablets. And the key price point for iPad Air 2 is below $350 no matter what GB. It's almost 2 years old.

Don't tell that to the guy who just paid me $350 for a 64GB.

I think $350 is a fair price. As soon as I dropped it to this price, the inquiries started coming and I sold it in a couple of days! What evidence do you have to support your theory that the "key price point for an iPad Air 2 is below $350...regardless of GB"?
