Don't most people carry their ipad pro's in some sort of laptop bag? Even with a cover, an ipad pro is a fragile and expensive piece of equipment to expose to bumps and bruises of commuting. Get a lightweight laptop bag and keep your pencil in that

That's good for carrying it outside, but I think the issue is when you are in the house or your workplace, and you are moving about with your iPad and Pencil. You can put your Pencil down in the living room, then forget to take it with you when you walk to the den. Then you have to search all over the house trying to remember where you put the Pencil.

iPad Pro should have pen enclosed inside there just like S Pen you can put in the Note.
I agree completely, while I don't own an IPP, I do find that I lose my stylus for the Surface Pro 3. So far, each time I've lost it, I've been able to locate it, so that hasn't been a need to buy a new one.

While I understand that dimensions of the apple stylus, in conjunction of the iPAd, is such that it wouldn't fit. Clearly they could have made both in such a way to not only compliment each other but also fit together in some way that you'll be less likely to lose it.
