Awesome, Societyworks!

Thank you, very much, for the time and effort you put into getting these test results to us. Now we get to see what this thing can do!

I'll be impatiently awaiting the arrival of my Space Gray 128 GB WiFi iPad Pro on Friday. The Apple Pencil won't arrive for another week afterward - which was a big disappointment.

I am surprised they went back to a dual core design, but 3200 single core performance is nothing but impressive.

Not disappointed with the Geekbench results, but also not quite satisfied. I thought it'd at least have a tri-core processor like the iPad Air 2. The clock speed however, is huge! Around 2.2 GHz, did not see that coming. :p The 4 GB of RAM was to be expected, and it will definitely be a game changer.

And I was thinking how much clock speed increased from the A8 to A9. That was as much as how the A9X differs from the A9-chip: 400 MHz. That's incredible! And looking at those scores... Man, iPad Pro is a beast. We're not even talking about GPU performance yet. :p

Looking forward to how apps are going to take full advantage of that A9X-chip. :)

Holy moley. 3250 single core? Very impressive indeed! :O

My Air 2 feels... ancient tech. 1850 single core... bah!

Edit: GPU benchmark please please please!

Can you confirm what GPU is inside? And a benchmark for it?

Oh I wish I could afford this beast, but I'm stuck with an Air 2 for the foreseeable future.

Laptop performance with a laptop price tag, hamstrung by a phone OS.
