I only had the iPad Pro for a few days, and it's already bent!! I received it last Friday (which was a nice surprise) and this morning I noticed how it had a bend in it. Anyone else with this problem?

(just wanted to add that this is from normal use at home, never put it in a bag or did anything unusual to it)

Nope, nothing like it. We don't have kids or pets. It has only been used in the office or on the couch. Haven't even tried to put a cover on because there are none available in NZ yet.

"Anyone else with this problem?"

Problem???

You mean the problem of sitting on your iPad Pro which was lying around in your sofa?

Nope, no one sat on it. I know for sure.

Well, the interesting thing is that it is only bent on the side where the charger is. I'm certain I haven't done anything unusual to it.

Lol. I had to google metal spontaneously bending and all I get are references to spoons and other pseudo-science. @iMacca, someone has most definitely bent it without your knowledge. Or could be yourself without your knowledge. It cannot have just happened by magic.

Does metal bend when it gets hot? I wonder whether it got hot while charging.

We've seen the videos of people bending them, and it took a bit more than accidental force. This seems like a trap of some sort.

No way it came out of the box like that. I do not thinkl the box would fully close if like that.

You need to have a family meeting as someone likely sat on your iPad Pro!

It does not bend by itself and no way it came out of the box like that without you noticing, so it had to happen in your house.

How can you be sure it was not sat on?

Think of the force that would've been required to bend it perfectly down the center like that. I can't imagine a soft butt pressing it against a soft cushion is going to have the force to make that happen. Maybe it fell into the recliner apparatus as it was forcefully opened with the weight of a large human.

Definitely. There is a youtube video of someone bending an iPad pro, and it takes him a lot of force.

Try bending the other side, if it is like butter, perhaps your ipad pro is fake ..
If it takes great force to also bend it, it's a real one .. in that case it's user error
maybe when you tried an ipad air case on the pro, you tried too hard to make it fit?
