iPad Pro Ipad Pro M4 using internal mic vs external.

So I mostly play PUBG on my ipad pro. I recently switched from Ipad air to Ipad pro couple months ago and realized that on my ipad pro, its using internal mic instead of headphone mic. On Air, it was using headphone mic. So I tested on other apps, on voice memo it uses headphone mic but if I were to record video from camera app then it switches automatically to internal mic. Is there a way to set this to external?

I do not think that iPad OS is advanced enought to reroute mics ie there is no MIDI utility like in Mac OS. But see if you can find anything in Sound settings.
