I didn't see any delivery restrictions on the tracking. The date can update after UPS receives the package in America after it passes customs. Also apple just said the second half of May not a fixed date like usual.

So I was very quick to order.
But my order status is still “in progress”.

I wonder if US orders are fulfilled first? That would be so stupid.

I ordered the 128GB WiFi version. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Im in the UK and got my order confirmation 5 minutes after launch, and mine is still in progress (12.9 256gb). Maybe the iPads are already in the UK compared with the US guys having to ship from China? Just a guess...

So the official "Shipping notification" will likely be Wednesday or Thursday before release on the Friday? As they ship it from Hinckley no China as for the US guys. Im only guessing as I have no experience with Apple pre-orders...

Payment should be taken early next week then go PTS with a dispatch Thursday from Hinckley for a 21st delivery hopefully
