I found that I have had Astropad for ages and forgot about it. So I hooked up my Air 2 and started testing it with my Wacom Bamboo sponge tip rubbish. I didn't expect much but was surprised to see that with practice I could indeed work in Photoshop, but of course multitouch control sometimes causes unwanted strokes so one hand has to use the physical keyboard for navigation.
 
One more thing. Don't try to use the pen tool or any polygon creation. It's impossible to do without free cursor control. Astropad only passes click, touch and pressure input.
 
Thanks! I made a post yesterday on the community site, but no response so far from anyone. I'll definitely report back here if I should hear back from the devs!
I'm happy to report that we fixed this "blow out" bug in our update that went out today!
