Pre-orders for the new iPad Pro start Wednesday, November 11th. What configuration will you be ordering, and let us know your order time once the 11th rolls around! Happy pre-ordering!

P.s personally I'm getting the 128 GB Cellular, can't go wrong with too much storage and 4g connectivity!

Hi there. I'm curious why you are getting a cellular model. Unless you don't have an iPhone can't you use the lte connection off your phone. I've never quite understood why the need for lte in the iPad when most folks also have their iPhone with them.

Maybe I need the LTE version and just never knew it :)

I hated the tethering. It's usually slower and burns the battery on my phone a ton. For 10$ a month id much rather grab onto my Verizon plan and share the data. Plus, i really don't need my phone so if i'm out at the library or something, i can leave it in my bag.

I wonder if there is going to be a certain time we can preorder? Or is it even a preorder? We need times! I need times! lol.
 
I'd be fine on 32GB. It might also be the first iOS thing I'd even consider ordering in white, but I don't really know.
 
i'm going to be getting a 128GB Wifi in gold, also the Apple Pencil and the silicone Smart Case. I'm in the UK so i'm hoping pricing will be announced and we also get enough stock.
 
With pre-orders coming on Wednesday, for those that pre-order right away, will that be a Friday delivery?

I'm torn between trying to go to a store and pick one up on Friday or ordering online, but not 100% if 2 days is fast enough a turnaround to expect it delivered on Friday.

From what i've read, and i've read too much, Apple was very disappointed with the roll out of the Apple TV. They were not happy with delivery times so i believe they will do everything they can to make it right with their customers and get them shipped ASAP.

I do software development, and sometimes like working from a park. Tethering with an iPad lasts many more hours than tethering with a phone. And tethering for that long on a phone makes it really hot, whereas an iPad doesn't heat up as much.

For this reason, I plan to get the LTE version as well.

Though I will feel a little goofy having a 12" iPad and a 12" Macbook out at the same time. Gonna try to keep the iPad in the bag...heh heh.

Believe me... Your not missing out. Although it's convenient to not worry about tethering your iPhone to the iPad.

But the extra cost you pay for the iPad & the additional cost you pay for the data service. I just found that it's not worth it. And this particular model is not really as portable as other previous models. I plan to buy the 128gb wifi and tether my iPhone to it.

Apple TV launch in Australia was a mess up. Stores couldn't even decide if they were meant to sell or not. Some said in 1hr some said late evening. Some started selling and then stopped. Some staff didn't even know the Apple tv4 was out. Omg. For Apple stores mind u very messed up.

See the same thing with the iPad pro this week
 
Btw cellular 128gb space black with keyboard case. I was hoping for a saddle brown leather but o well.

No GPS on the non cellular iPads.

I still bet you can get in stores before the preorders ship, but we will see. Hopefully the preorders ship from the US and are faster then ATV launch. Won't be happy if preorder Wed, stores get Friday, and get iPad Tuesday like Apple TV.

yes for sure. Especially here in Australia, chances are the preorder would be our time Thursday. Which would mean no way possible to get it shipped by Friday. U would have to camp outside the store Friday and check every 1hr until stock arrive and its sold.
 
Not sure if anyone knows the answer, but will the Black Friday special they always do include the iPad Pro? I'm assuming not, but I can hope. :)

If this will be anything like the ATV pre order, watch out. I pre ordered the ATV on Monday and it wasn't delivered until the middle of the following week. However the ATV was available in the stores (Apple and retail) on Friday of the same week I pre ordered it. So, I picked one up in the store and returned the pre ordered when it finally arrived.

I know I want a 128gb LTE but I'm really torn on color. I want the space gray because I think it matches the smart keyboard best but then I feel like the pencil matches the gold or silver with the white face better, then again I'm probably overthinking it lol.
 
I was waiting for the Pro announcement before I upgraded my iPad. I am super curious what pro users are going to do with it versus an Air 2 which I recently purchased. For me the Pro was a little too big and didn't seem to accomplish anything all that different from the Air. Photoshop with a computer and a mouse is my preferred method. But I'm super curious what real world usage and limitations will crop up in the next few weeks.

Nope, always leave us guessing somehow. Don't know if midnight or in the morning like Apple TV. Would love to know so I can decide if I preorder or just go to store on Friday.
