Hi All, I've been eagerly watching my iPad's journey from China to my doorstep... Reported to be delivered tomorrow!

Then it got to Kentucky, and there were no status updates for a whole day. Now it's back to being in China again with no reported delivery date.

Is this a sign of snags in Apple's delivery system, or did I get my iPad stolen by someone?

Anybody else experience this yet??

Mine is doing the exact same thing as we speak - and I can't complain to Apple because they are on holiday. I want to complain to them vs. UPS because they are UPS's customer and they need to demand better service. The cynic in me feels like I'm being punished for being so cheap as to opt for basic ground shipping.

Talked to Apple agent today and was told the version that goes "It never actually left China - it only shows that on the shipping site Your new delivery date is between 7 and 14 December." Since my original delivery date was 25 November, this is very disappointing. I'm 50 and cannot remember a time when either UPS or Apple sucked this badly. These really are the end times. . .
