Yeah I will probably go back to glass too on the new one. Part of the reason I switched was I’d only used glass on my current 9.7 ipp and the glass would chip really bad around the edges. I was planning to pass it on to my kids once my new one arrived and I didn’t want to worry about them getting shards of glass in their fingers if or when it chipped

What do you plan to use the pencil for now that you have it?

Not an artist by any means, lol. They slammed the door in my face when they were handing out artistic talent, lol. Mainly for notes and stuff. Thought about a cheapie knockoff, but decided against it. We’ll see as time goes on. If later I decide I’m not using it enough, I’ll probably gift it to someone.

this thing looks gorgeous. Great job and enjoy!! Because of time difference I can mostly read your messages in the morning and from what I see today everyone gets their iPad or pencil or skin etc. that makes me so happy 😂.

Hi, everyone! I’ve been lurking since about an hour after I placed my order on 9/17. Amazon (and Apple) has us so used to getting everything in a couple of days to the point where this is driving me nuts lol.. I’ve passed the time reading nearly every single comment. How did y’all last a month?!

I ordered on 9/15 (Amazon) and it was delivered on 9/17 -- btw Amazon is currently showing available on 10/3 😉

I got my pencil a little while ago! My writing looks like I’ve been drinking all day or something, lol. It’s terrible. Plus, I’m writing on the glass. It’s going to take some getting used to. 😳

In my experience those have been worse. You’re much better off taking 2 or 3 days to get used to writing on the glass.

ive order lot of stuff form Bestbuy and never have had any issues.imjust ordered an iPad Pro 11 on Thursday andgot it delivered for free on Friday. Did the same when I upgraded my projector few months ago...took like 4-5 days for delivery.

Agreed, plus once you remove them you remove the oleophobic coating + light is distorted so Netflix is not fully Netflix anymore on iPad.

Is there any ETA on either of them? You might end up getting all three at the same time, lol. Did Best Buy charge you again for the second one, or did they just send it? I’m really glad for you that things are finally working out!

No, UPS hasn’t picked up the second iPad yet, so no DD. And USPS is still showing departed from GA and not showing a DD and my Apple order is still processing.
No BB didn’t charge me for the reship since it wasn’t my fault.

Well everyone who had ordered from BB was getting them in 1-2 days so that’s why I did. If I would have known all the ups and downs I would have went through I wouldn’t have ordered. 🤣

Well, it's not Apple gear, but I have to say using a game controller with the iPad Pro, at least on the 12.9, is really great.
