I got a MacBook Pro last month as well and my first one was pristine out of the box as far as I could see. I had far more issues with the iPad Pros. Everyone’s experience is different which should be no surprise considering how hit and miss Apple QC can be.

Hey guys, I got a 2020 iPad Pro 11" last week and noticed the space grey aluminum finish was chipping off the front in not one, but two corners out of the box. Oh but if you buy it within 60 days do you have to take it to the store?You have 60 days to buy it according to Apple's website, but there's been other news about having up to a year to add it. The difference is after the 60-day point, you have to take it to a store to be inspected. If there's any damage, it has to be fixed (so out of pocket expense for you) before AC+ can be added.

This sounds like a dumb question but when you get an iPad and you set up does all your apps on your iPhone automatically transfer or can you choose which apps you want from your iphone on your iPad?
No, it would be the same as what you had.
They should, but of course you can just delete the ones you don’t need. Since my previous iPad Pro met a Unfortunate Demise about 2 weeks before I got my new iPad Pro, I had no iPad Backup to transfer to my new one. I set it up from Scratch and no apps were installed. I then picked the ones I wanted.

I’m sure you’ll like the Space Grey a lot when you finally get yours; it’s no less sleek than the Silver. You just have to treat it carefully, as it has a tendency to chip more easily and show more wear and tear over time (the main reason why I got Silver as well lol).
Well I already have a silver iPhone is why I got the SG, and the silver was showing longer shipping times when I ordered. But I should have just stuck with silver. Probably would have had it by now. 😑 I’ll love it either way though. The silver is just so showy!
Oh, I have the SG and I love it. No chips or wear either, so don't worry about that especially if you keep it in a case.
Definitely the 11”. I have the 11” and mine came with the same box art.
Yeah, I say get a case for it just to be safe. My mother has a 2018 Space Grey 11” model which has some spots where it has started wearing off, most noticeably around the USB-C port area. Granted she doesn’t have a case, but doesn’t exactly treat her electronics roughly either lol.
As stated there are other ways to buy Apple Care without having to go into the store. Doing it through settings is the easiest as you don’t need a proof of purchase or a diagnostic run on the device

I have the Space Gray too! Definitely looks more sleek than the Silver in my opinion. But then again, Silver is an Apple Classic.
