...I just feel that the product launches now are just not very exciting or as enrolling as when Jobs gave the presentations.

Well said.

Also, I don't know about others, but for me the sales pitch is getting somewhat warn. The jeans , the same key phrases, even the tone of delivery, just feels like deja vu all over again...

My gut feel is that Apple is getting a bit stale.

A lot of exciting stuff over the last few years now just doesn't feel the same.

Cook probably is doing a very good job but the excitement and controversy that Steve generated has gone. All feels a bit flat now unfortunately.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why they killed the iPad 3.

Apple is greedy now, they knew they weren't selling enough iPads so they had to take measures to make it attractive, and also to increase its sales thanks to the holiday season.

Correction:

Apple is a for profit corporation. They do work and produce products to generate profit. They always have and always will. As does every other company on Earth.

You call it greed, logical people call it operating a responsible business.

So you would rather Cook wear khakis instead of jeans? This is a burning issue for you?

Here's another possibility. ;)

"Strategy Analytics claims Android reached 41 percent of tablets in Q3, iPad may have felt the heat"

So what? This doesn't mean iPad sales had to fall. The tablet market is rapidly expanding and therefore there is room for both iPhone+Android to grow. Android having a higher market share than Apple is to be expected as there are hundreds or Android tablets out there and only a few iPads as well as Android running on the 3 or 4 other "major" (nexus 7, kindle etc) tablets which aren't iPads.

Apple just missed earnings estimates a rare event

Actually no, it's not. It depends on whose estimates you're talking about.

Pretty often, they've undershot "analyst estimates" which are pretty much always higher than Apple's own guidance for some reason.
