Welcome to the club, I absolutely hate Chantilly UPS. I called to ask for a timeframe and they said maybe before 5pm maybe later. FedEx is so much better 🙁

Nope, you're not the only one. I'm sitting in GA, about 20 minutes from my nearest major UPS hub, and at 3:12pm, I'm still waiting. This is f**king ridiculous. UPS can't plan out anything efficiently. I've wasted the whole GORGEOUS day waiting on this thing.
Day 22
It has been 22 days since I set the bottle afloat in the hopes that someone will receive it and send the men in brown to my rescue. I can only hope that someone received it and will send help.
I am running low on supplies, having exhausted my drinks and what few snacks I could scrounge together. I am down to only my alcohol, which if I recall my survival courses correctly, will only serve to dehydrate me as I wait for the droning sound of salvation motoring towards me. Besides that, if I consume the half bottle of tequila that I have remaining, I most surely will not have anything to cleanse wounds and could be in no condition to recognize the help when it comes. I do not want to risk injury and infection that would surely take me down before help arrives.
I am getting weak, and find myself thinking of things like the Playstation 3 and other movies. Better keep my mind off of those things as I continue my vigil. Men in brown -- you must come quickly. I do not know how much longer I can hold out.

Holy S**t! As I hit "post reply" on my above post, she FINALLY walked in with my baby. About damn time! Woo Hoo!
Still nothing. I am getting FED Up now. Why is UPS moving SO SLOWLY in LA. My last tracking reference was a "Destination Scan" in Van Nuys @ 10am. It's now 12:30 and nothing. COME ON! I am sick of UPS!

I am in 80116, South of Parker. Nothing here yet, we probably have the same delivery guy.
I know what you mean. I hate UPS... FedEx is so much better in this area. Well, I guess we will have to wait until they decide to start working over there in Chantilly, VA. If I had gone to the Apple Store this morning at Tysons Corner it would already be in my hands. 🙂
I'm getting ready to execute Plan B - 1 more hour and I'm going to the store. I'm so agitated I can't even focus on playing PS3 or whatever, I just cleaned the kitchen because I couldn't settle down lol.
In the mean time, here are my rules for the next Apple release:
- UPS updates all it's computers to run OS X to give us better tracking info
- UPS uses iPads to complete transactions instead of those horrible little brown pad things
- All new Apple products come with a GPS tag so we can track them as they move
- No cars allowed to drive except delivery trucks on day of delivery
- All little yappy dogs kept inside so as to not confuse us
