It is 12:44 in Fresno, and I got my CASE, My DOCK and MY VGA cable, in a yellow non standard FED EX truck--and all of these were showing APRIL 6th as delivery...NO IPAD from UPS. The wait continues....

UPS will deliver until 7pm local time.

My shipment follows this exactly. UPS has a huge area out here and sometimes even delivers after 9pm. I wonder if anyone else is out there... maybe someone who received theirs?

Anyone with this tracking pattern get there iPad or go past this point?

Called UPS They assured me it would be here today, and despite the tracking info it is out for delivery. I still don't have it in my hands!

I don't see how UPS has "failed miserably" on a non-expedited saturday delivery to a residential address. The terms are from 9am to 7pm. The time depends on where you are on the route. Whats so slow about that? Its like some people haven't shipped anything before.

If anything, Apple failed on providing an expedited early AM delivery option. I'd pay extra not to have to sit around all day.

Dude! You started this thread. You should already have yours. You could've gone to the UPS hub in Maspeth with me and would have got it at 9:45am.

There was a part of me that was hoping they would deliver it before noon. I know the regular UPS driver, good guy, never pull any of the crap that Fedex pulls but I found out he wasn't working today. So i'm giving up on today. Probably the regular guy will deliver it on monday. Nothing I can do. I'll probably bitch at Apple for the epic fail but whatever.

As I understand UPS has a deal with Apple - probably because of UPS being able to ship out to like 200.000 adresses within one day. And i believe that UPS is willing to keep that promise.

Poor UPS drivers though - give em a break and if you have a chance to: a smile also. They have like what? 300 to 400 iPads to deliver and they are not St. Claus so they have to do it the very classic way from door to door.

Be patient - I guess its worth while.

Anyway, enjoy your iPads. Germany and other international locations get a chance in late April.
