Always Innovating Touch Book. :)

That mother goes onto the fridge door and stays there until supper.

I like this idea. For me, I could mount it to the wall right next to my desk at work. That would free up space on my desk and I could have TV programs or anything else up and running on it.

What you could do pretty easily is just add a big strip of velcro to the back of the Ipad or on the back of an Ipad case. Then just add opposing strips of Velcro to different places you might want to "stick" your Ipad. i.e. a kitchen cupboard for recipes, your car dash, opposing wall from the toilet :) etc. etc.

Yeah, I really like that velcro idea. Some velcro in your bathroom, in the kitchen, on the car seats, etc. Perfect for easy storage or affixing to a surface. Cheap, too.

Until the velcro starts to wear down after numerous ripping and the iPad falls off the wall.

O2 had the same idea - but IMO executed poorly!

I think an iPad mounted in the kitchen on a wall mount is an excellent idea!

The lady of the house can keep track of the families calendars (mobile me ical OTA syncing) Check up on recipes and how to cook foods etc... make their shopping lists while in the kitchen, and all the other benefits of internet radio and a quick browse on the internet/email.

Finally a way to keep the wife in the kitchen. :D

I'm ready to order the modulR wall mount! Looks like it swivels out and will collapse against the wall to get out of the way. I like the fact that the case stays on when you take it off the mount.

Modern heavy duty velcro is used for mission critical purposes by organizations like NASA and the US Army. A two square inch piece is strong enough to support a 175 pound man. I'm guessing it's chance of failure while holding a 1.5 lb iPad are slim to none.

Seems like all of you failed to mention Home Automation. For the ones of us who have that in our house, using Indigo, this is exactly the reason to get wall mounted iPads! In Indigo you can pretty easily set up Control Pages (viewed in a browser) to control your house.

Could people keep up and post wall mounted iPad stands as they come over them ?

The ModulR is not yet available.

The next option would be the Padholdr which is great since you can easily take the iPad away.

The iBracket looks great too, there's a speaker option and provision for the dock connector so you can charge it while mounted on the wall. Now all we need is a way to sync the iPad via wi-fi.

It seems that someone else thought that velcro was a good match for the iPad (as shown in this short video).

iPad + Velcro = match made in heaven

It is very hilarious. Check out the YouTube video
