It's a start but don't you think it is rather plain? I think a picture of a sun or even a whole galaxy blowing up as the background would be deliciously ironic. I just thought of this. How about a black hole eating a galaxy and the Apple logo in the cent of the black hole?

Here's one I took on the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. Not bad for an iPhone 3GS. Sized to 1024x1024. Thanks for the tip Lotus!

Well here's another try. I personally like the one without the apple logo better than the one with but I included both just in case.

Let me know if you have any other ideas and I'll keep working on some more backgrounds.

To do a screen capture press the power button and the button down at the bottom of the screen.

Per request here are a couple more. As it turns out it's not so easy to find images that you can get a good 1024 x 1024 cut out of.
