Some nice images. A shame they aren't in a square (1024x1024 minimum).here's mine...miss champ car, works great in landscape and portrait.

what exactly are the screen dimensions of the ipad2? i've seem portrait wallpaper and landscape. they can't be the same orientation, can they, or does it switch wallpapers when you rotate it?
The screen's resolution is 1024 x 768. 1024 x 1024 is the resolution most wallpaper for the iPad is created at.

I had just looked at the movie before I saw this post. I knew it looked familar but I still couldn't place it at first. Untill after I read the post of course.

I've been collecting and making images the appropriate size for when the time comes.

The default aurora wallpaper, but squished from the sides. I think it looks better on the iPad's screen like this, than the normal image.

Nice photos. Can't see it though in his portfolio. Is it possible to contact him directly?
Those pictures aren't in his portfolio, that's why I added the links to my post, I had to edit them now they should work. He's a concert photographer now http://mattvogelphoto.com/portfolio/ and doesn't do to much landscape photography anymore as far as I know.
