It's from the boondocks saints. The guys on either side of the center character...they are holding the guys, the guy in the middle does not have any guns. Hence the thumbs being the wrong way, they aren't his

So, I have this Superman image as my iPhone wallpaper. I looked for a larger image and set it on my iPad. However, it doesn't look right when I rotate the iPad. What resolution should I be using for the iPad so I don't run into this problem? Alternatively, does anyone know how to crop this image so I get both?

An image that is 1024 x 1024 pixels, with the important part of the image inside the middle 768 x 768 pixels so that it doesn't get cut off regardless of which way you turn the iPad.

I think it should read "Ceci n'est pas un iPad"... so "un" instead of "une". If you really want to follow the French rules, it should even be "Ceci n'est pas une tablette".
I thought as much. "Pipe" is female in French, that's why it has "une". "iPad" on the other hand is male, so it's "un".

That's just not the right size at all, but here's a shot. The black bars will be cut off in portrait, but the image was just not wide enough to lose them all together. (you need 1024x1024)

Someone posted an epic lego zombies picture they used on their lock screen. I tried using it as the home screen too, but it was too distracting... So I blurred and darkened it and now it looks great, IMO Check it out.
I use the focussed one for the lock screen and the blurred one for the home screen.
