Those are nice, but we try to keep them 1024x1024 in here so others can easily enjoy them as wallpapers for the iPad.

Going to ask a bit of a stupid question now, but i will anyway. Once i have found an image i like that is the right resolution how do i then set it as a background on the ipad? Or is it the same as changing between the pre set wallpapers in the settings, but i just have to save the image to the ipad itself?

You will need to browse to the image on your iPad and save it or synch it to your iPad via PC or Mac before you can set it as your wallpaper. You can do it 2 different ways.

1. Settings>Wallpaper>pick the image you want
2. Photos>(place image is located)>Use as wallpaper

I use the image on the right on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2, I Photoshoped the apple because I'm not to a big fan of the retro apple colors but always liked that wallpaper. Im not good at photoshop so please don't bash the amateur work

That image is already on the iPad. Was someone requesting it? I checked back to about page 39 and couldn't find anything.

Umm, no. This is not the thread to start posting home screens and lock screens. That will only make this thread a total cluster----. I'd assume most of the people that come in here want to just view wallpapers as the title suggests, not home screens.

For the record, I think that thread should be moved. Where it is now is not the right place as the iPhone thread has a "post your homescreen" thread in it. I think the iPad deserves the same.
