ipad3 retina display useless for photos, iOS downsamples every image to crap

Which is a serious limitation for me as an amateur photographer. I am looking at Jailbreaking options that might let me work around this.

if you copy the link to the dropbox file and open it in your browser then it works.

Bit of a pain but a workaround nonetheless!

Yes, but handling bulk photos is a pain that way. I don't know if I should get iPhoto just for that.
