No, it is a hack...they found the back door in and now they will rip the 1.1.1 update apart. They now have full access to the file system and from that they will be able to get the keys for the encryption. 2 days from now and we will be back to the good ol days of 1.0.2.

Serious question from someone who has little experience with security, so if I'm off base, I'd prefer an answer rather then flames, please. :D

Apple evidently stored the encryption keys for 1.0.x in clear text. I was under the impression this was not the case for 1.1.1 (they went to 128-bit AES or something). So even if they can kind where the keys are, will it be as easy to extract them as it was under 1.0.x?
