None at all. I have a 2014 Mazda 6 and it works seamlessly. Could it be the firmware on the GMC Yukon that needs to be updated? Good luck.

I don’t think it’s a firmware issue. All other devices are running same OS and work perfectly. It’s an issue with the phone.

Hmm... I was going to suggest that it may have been iOS 13 or one of the subsequent point releases, but if all of your devices are running the same version, that’s not the issue.
I have no issue with my 11 Pro and my 2019 Accord.
I think a Genius Bar appointment or call to Apple support is in order - they may replace your device.
Another thing to try - although a giant hassle - would be resetting your phone to factory and setting up as new. That has solved a couple of problems for me in the past.

Strangely I’ve had the opposite (Audi Q7) it used to fail to connect maybe half the time but ios 13 is better

I’ve had few issues with my 11 Pro Max in my 2018 Chevy Colorado using CarPlay. An occasional time where Siri won’t read my texts but nothing like the issues I had with the iOS 13 betas with my XS Max. I have used it in my fathers 2016 GMC Sierra and it had a few bugs not staying connected though.

Try a different lightning cable. I was having problems with getting disconnects at least 2-3 times a drive. I still get them with a different cable but nearly as often.

I am also having Carplay problems with my 11 on the current IOS. It's not the cable, as I tried several including a couple of my Apple cables. A reset works once, but then the problem returns. If I "forget" the phone from the infotainment system and then re-install it works, but then the problem reoccurs.

When i try to connect my 11 Pro Max with the car, its not recognized. Sometimes it gets recognized and then gets disconnected. I have to unplug and then plug it again multiple times to make it work.

I have a 2017 Mercedes GLE that has wireless CarPlay, however I still have to plug my Xs into the port to see CarPlay. Any suggestions on how to use it wireless without plug in my phone?

With my Pioneer deck, I had to delete everything and when the phone paired bluetooth, it prompted to use wireless CarPlay. after that, it works great. If I plug in, it switches to wired, and goes right back to wireless when unplugged.
The big thing was I had to do the initial connection wireless.

...problem solved for a week now...

So I too have an iPhone 11 Max Pro. My phone would not work with my CarPlay I updated the firmware on my phone to iOS 13.2 Beta. I then purchased a half meter .5m iPhone USB to lightning cable Apple OEM from Walmart $19 After plugging that cable into the USB port on my CarPlay stereo I have not had any problems everything seems to be working smoothly.

Since 13.2, I have to reboot my 11 Pro Max phone before my Merc SL will acknowledge CarPlay. Then it connects and works all day. But the next day, I have to go through the phone reboot again. It was fine with 13 and 13.1.
On Friday, I swapped the Apple lightning cable for another one from my ATV and it’s been perfect all weekend

2018 Subaru Outback Limited, iPhone 11 Pro iOS 13.2.3, connected via cable

Works great.

If I had one complaint ... sometimes ... not always ... the phone is reasonably warm after my 40 minute commute. Not sure if GPS, streaming music, map applications, car connection, and charging ... is giving the phone a work out.

I have the iPhone 11 Pro and a Nissan Leaf and have exactly the same problems with CarPlay as the other posts above. The iPhone X works fine but not the 11 Pro. I have no answers as nothing I've tried seems to work. Please Apple acknowledge there's an issue and tell us your working on a fix!
