94% I'm thinking it's red pocket gsma service draining the battery. I was assuming the 12 had better modems which might save battery.

I know this is about the 11 pro max, but this is is still 'kinda' on topic. I bought a new 8 plus in September 2018. It's currently at 81% with 800+ cycles. Not too shabby. I'll probably just replace the battery and see how long I can make the phone last, even though the 12 pro max is tempting. I guess battery longevity varies greatly between models and usage patterns.
Replacing the battery will make a big difference in how your phone feels. Especially since you play the battery lottery and could get a 104% batter health capacity and it's even better than designed.

i got my 11 PM about a week after release..

battery health is definitely broken
How many cycle counts do your battery have?
I have an xr with 98% and 368 cycles, I found it kind of strange because apple says that "A normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles", so normally in my case it should be below 90%.

Numbers are Mental lol

Indeed, really depends on what I have been doing and the signal strength. There was a day when I got horrible battery life and realised it was due to my networks 4G being almost completely out that day, then the next day I get just over 10hours SOT.

The Intel modem can really ruin battery life if it’s not happy.
