Hello,

3 days ago my iPhone 11 pro max arrived and I have small hair under camera lens. Do you think should I change phone?
This does not affect the quality of the photos. you think it will disappear or move? can this affect photos one day?

If you ordered it from Apple, just go in and exchange to the same model. You’re well inside the 14 day exchange/return period.

I bought from the operator and there are no more available iPhone 11 pro max :( so I may return but I can't change

Hi, iPhone 11 pro owners! I have found dust under ultra wide camera glass? Please advise if anyone is having the same issue?

A quick search would’ve found a few others with the same issue. As mentioned above, send it back and get a replacement

The camera you’re showing in the photo is the super wide angle one, it has a fixed focal length, so you’re most likely not to notice. I would however take a pic of a white sheet of paper, make sure it’s in focus and check if you can see anything...
If yes, I would call your carrier...

Most likely only cosmetic. Do as recommended above: Take a sample picture and check if it is in frame. Had dust in all three lenses of my 11 Pro and since it showed in pictures I exchanged it.

White wall photo, white papper and normal photo. You see anything wrong?

Try the tap method. Basically bang the edge of the phone on your hand to shift the hair. It's worked for many people..

don't want to jack the thread but when people here say get a replacement (11 pro max) are you guys talking about getting a new retail one, or the one that comes in a white box? or you guys talking about a new retail one? especially if yours is still under return / refund period?

Personal experience when a phone is activated already: you keep all originals: box, accessories. While only a phone is returned and exchanged for a new one in white slim box. Already returned mine and looking forward to get a new one.

White box....

so replacing your new one with a non-retail one is a non-issue? I wonder if replacements in white boxes are manufactured to do just that for replacement? I wonder if down the line you try and sell it privately it will be an issue

I had this problem aswell on my first 11 Pro Max.

The bottom and the wide-angle lens had dust particles under the glass.

At first when i got my 11 Pro max, i noticed right away that my ultrawide-camera was bit blurry on the edges. Didn't think about it, because couple of other people mentioned that it isn't "that" good. Couple of days later when cleaning the lenses i noticed the dust particles. Returned it and now my second 11 pro max is flawless. I don't know if its placebo effect but i think the "blurry" sides on the ultrawide is now gone on my second pair.

Couple of people argued that it doesn't matter, that the lens will be dusty anyway when you take a picture. Might be true, but when you pay top dollar or a device you don't expect it to have this kind of problem. When something like this passes QC, to me its a good reason to return the device.
