Traded my X for a Pro Max 64GB. I was planning on getting the 256GB model, but they didn't have it in stock and combined with the fact that I would have paid extra, I sticked to the 64GB.
It's a heavy phone, but it's just very well built. The back glass texture is amazing. It's obviously very fast, but the software is just buggy. iOS 13 was borderline unusable because of the stutters, and even on iOS 13.1.2, it takes longer to open the camera app than it did on my X.
I don't like the new implementation of 3D Touch, 3D Touch was intuitive for me.
Face ID is faster, but I wish it worked like it does on the iPad Pro (works at different angles) so that I wouldn't only be able to unlock the phone in portrait.
