Fantastic freaking update, absolutely love the green color.

When will iOS 13 be available though?
Color is hidden by the case you put on the device to negate the camera bump so the damn thing can lay flat. But I do like the green just a shame it’s wasted opportunity again.

Dumbest name ever and completely negates the rest of the Pro lineup and Apple’s strategy of using the pro title for professional products. It’s just a consumer product. Professionals don’t need this phone anymore than the other ones.

It’s a name. Who cares. I don’t go to buy a product and only buy based off the name. “Oh, this is called Pro, no need to research or anything, I know I’m a professional.”

You're missing the point - it helps customers know what product is right for them. For example, without getting bogged down in specs, people can identify quickly whether or not they need a MacBook Pro if they're just using it for online browsing. Apple even used it to market the iPad as a laptop replacement to the professional market. This is almost as stupid as the PS4 Pro.

Professional MacRumors curmudgeons need two iPhones Pro.

That makes zero sense. If you’re a Pro user and don’t read a spec sheet, I can imagine the ****** work you do (proverbial “you”).

It helps to you, but don't assume the same for others.

Many people just prefer a larger screen on laptops, tables and phones which Apple markets as "pro."

These customers don't care about the "pro" features.

About damned time Apple. Its still ridiculous that the 11 doesn't include a fast charger though when phones $400 and less do.
I agree. It’s lame.

On the other hand, I have fast-charge Qi chargers now. So I won’t even take the headphones, usb cable, or charger out of the box unless I give them to the kids.

So the 11 is “more Pro” because it’s doesn’t come with things I won’t use.

I wish they had just totally committed to USB-C, the way they did with the iPad Pro. It’s nice that they now use the same charging brick, but you will still need to bring a separate cable for each. It would offer you so much more flexibility if there were the same.

Exactly, this would have been the perfect time to switch over to a USB C connection. I wonder if this has anything to do with their licensing and making money off other companies making Lightning cables and accessories?
