So i just spoke with Apple chat as i was a bit worried. I thought I had screwed up my iphone delivery - i went through the UPS my choice thing and made a change of the delivery address to my work address but after seeing that may cause a delay after talking to UPS chat i later removed the change to hopefully make sure it delivers the 20th to the original address (my home). Looks like you cant make any changes at all or this will cause a delay. UPS also told me they cannot make a change anyways on their end and the change has to be made through Apple.

Sooooo I get on the apple chat to ensure that i did not screw my delivery up and make sure i get this iphone on the 20th still (just wanted to have it a little earlier during the day at work lol) - here was the end of the transcript (after they assured me no changes were made to shipment and that they could change the ship to address but it can cause a 1-2 day delay) I ended up sticking to my original home address as I couldnt wait any longer -

Apple - "Your iPhone 11 Pro is set for delivery on 9/20/19" "It has been my pleasure to assist you today! I am excited for you"
Me - "great thanks! hope all goes well"
Apple - "It will go as planned! I can assure you. Your iPhone is about to take its first plane ride!"

Looks like my iphone is about to take a ride lmao.... apple chat has some good humor...

Not necessarily. Their main routes are
ZZ-HK-ANC-SNF;
ZZ-INC-ANC-SNF;
and lesser used ZZ-Shanghai-ANC-SNF

I've seen this so many times before...Everyone will be refreshing their UPS apps or the website, and there won't be any updates...and it will get to Wednesday and everyone will be freaking out because UPS says your phone is still in China...Then Thursday, it will update, your phone will have traveled to Alaska and will have arrived in Louisville and will depart there sometime Thursday afternoon or evening, get to your local hub late Thursday night...then be delivered on Friday.

Chatting with my brother, European orders are outbound at the moment and on their way. US orders probably won't start making their way to Alaska and onward, until tomorrow through Wednesday. That is for phones. My Apple Watch 5 on the other hand is now in Alaska...

No it’s not giving me the option to change it to CC so I’m just going to call UPS have them change it I don’t want to take any risks

I'm not holding my breath, that my package will move for at least a couple of days. Last year, mine didn't move till Thursday! It's the same as this year, one of the first to be scanned but it sat and sat in China, It didn't get to Ky till Thursday night! and arrived in LA Friday morning. So, logistically, UPS can move it. Also helps because of the time differences coming back to the west coast.

I'm going to wait a day or two to call UPS about the CC issue not showing up, but it could be they don't want us lining up to pick up our phones and my CC. It's a major one.

Same for me... :/ I think we’ll just have to call UPS directly to get that changed

I'm not getting a CC as an option in MyChoice for any of my packages (my Watch is in Louisville), either. I just called UPS at the hub (not the 800 number), and they submitted the hold for pickup at the CC. They said the hold went through successfully, and it'll be available on 9/20. The only reason that I have the local number for the CC is that they had to call me about a package in the past, and they gave it to me so that we could keep in contact. Usually, a rep on the 800 customer service line won't give out the local CC numbers. Googling the CC or looking it up on UPS website only shows the 800 number.

Just wondering what cases are you guys getting? I’ve gone once again with hardgraft Cash card wallet case after my last one in ocean blue was stolen, as it keeps my phone naked when in use and covered when in my pocket. So elegant!

I picked up one of the clear cases from Apple. I see some good reviews on the clear ones for the XR and am hoping they work out. I'm worried about the exposed bottom but I don't love the clear cases from other brands I've seen. Spigen used to be great but now they yellow for some reason. They've even removed all of the text saying they are anti-yellowing. Sorry for the long response lol

Card hasn’t even been charged...may cancel and just get it in store like I did last year..with the XS Max. Figure the point of pre ordering is to get it on launch day and apparently that’s not gonna happen, can go to my carrier and buy it on launch day.

Same here! The Apple clear case seems decent, but slippery. I’ll post feedback on the case after I get my iPhone 11 Pro on Friday.

I’ve read good feedback on the Caudabe Lucid Clear Crystal. That may be worth a look.

My go-to case is the Pitaka MagCase. This year I pre-ordered the Air Case. Thinner than the MagCase!
